Research specialist for induced pluripotent cells and organoid models

For the Czech Centre for Phenogenomics (CCP) hosted by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences (IMG), we announce an open position of Research specialist for induced pluripotent cells and organoid models.


Core responsibilities

  • Generation and culture of induced pluripotent stem cells
  • 3D organotypic culture models
  • Differentiation protocols for tissue culture models derived from iPSCs
  • Maintaining cell cultures, cell transfection, production of viral particles (AAV, Lenti)
  • Molecular biology methods (DNA, RNA isolation, PCR, qPCR, WB, cloning etc.)
  • Development, testing, and implementation of new methods
  • Imaging and microscopy for non-animal model characterization and phenotyping

Requirements

  • College/university degree in a cell and molecular biology or similar education
  • Experience with cell culture techniques
  • Experience with microscopy (live confocal)
  • Knowledge of standard office software, image analysis
  • Knowledge of English is necessity
