FLIM-FRET User Meeting: STELLARIS 8 FLIM Module

  • Date & Time: 17. 9. 2024 - 18. 9. 2024  |  9:00 - 17:00
  • Location: IMG building

Join the FLIM-FRET User Meeting: STELLARIS 8 FLIM Module and get a new theoretical and practical experiences during a complex workshop combining theoretical lectures and practical experiences during hands-on sessions.

Registration is required.

Deadline: September 12, 2024

Lectures

The first half-day will focus on theoretical lectures covering the basics of Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM) and advanced FLIM-FRET techniques. Participants will learn about the principles of fluorescence lifetime, various measurement techniques, and key applications in biosensing and species separation. The lectures will also go into advanced FLIM-FRET methods for studying molecular interactions, including selecting donor fluorophores and exploring FRET-based sensors. These theoretical sessions will be complemented by user experience presentations, providing user insights and applications.

Hands-on sessions

The remaining one and a half days will be dedicated to hands-on sessions led by an advanced Leica applications specialist. These practical sessions will guide participants through system setup, data acquisition, analysis, and export. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own samples for personalized guidance, while standard samples will be available for system demonstrations. These sessions aim to provide practical experience and address specific queries regarding FLIM-FRET system setup and optimization.

This workshop offers a comprehensive learning experience, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, under the guidance of an expert.
