In the last three months, members of staff of the Institute of Molecular Genetics participated in testing the samples for the presence of SARS-CoV-2. On June 15, the testing was finished, and the testing unit “winterized” with the possibility of its rapid activation in case of emergent need for further testing.

In the last three months, members of staff of the Institute of Molecular Genetics participated in testing the samples for the presence of SARS-CoV-2. On June 15, the testing was finished, and the testing unit “winterized” with the possibility of its rapid activation in case of emergent need for further testing.
Hereby I would like to thank all those involved in the operation of the testing laboratories. First, I would like to thank Petr Bartůněk, head of infrastructure CZ-OPENSCREEN, for his initiative, management, and providing the laboratory background for the testing. I would also like to thank all those who, by their selfless work, participated in the academic testing; many of them devoted most of their time to this activity, including weekends.
