New functions of nuclear and membrane γ-tubulin

Regulation of microtubule nucleation by protein kinases and phosphatases

We have found that protein tyrosine kinases and phosphatases form complexes with γ-tubulin and regulate microtubule nucleation in mast cells. [pubmed] [doi]

Effect of profilin on the organization of microfilaments and microtubules
